Bella Viva Orchards is a California based business that manufactures and sells dried fruit on both wholesale and retail channels.
I have supported Bella Viva for four years providing hands on assistance in much of their technology stack. I have spearheaded updating their ecommerce stack, moving from an outdated cart solution to Shopify; key areas of concern were to minimize downtime, preserve existing customer accounts and automate importing product inventory. I assisted Bella Viva in implementing a fulfilment pick and pack order fulfillment system that ties together shipping, accounting online store management.

On the manufacturing side, I created a real-time app that their production team uses to manage costs for their fruit drying runs. This involved live tie-ins into their payroll & timecard provider, screens for inputting raw material usage and discard data for quality purposes. Ultimately the goal was to identify problems with runs as soon as possible to keep costs as low as possible and quality as high as possible. This solution was implemented using Microsoft dot.net on the backend and responsive front end design.
